I like the natural fibers, but the glaze is really shiny, and it seems that the handles will not withstand heavy lugging around. Also, the liner is not sewn well. The edges are not surged (it's only a straight stitch) and the edge is already fraying before I've even used it. I don't see the liner lasting very long. I'm going to return it and look elsewhere.... The basket is heavy, feeling like it does indeed have a metal frame for extra support and strength. The size of the basket is about what the description claims, just know that the handles add to the height, but it is not basket height in which you can store something. I have a front loading washing machine, and one load will mound up over the top, at least 4 to 5 inches higher than the handles. So that when full, I need to feel for where the handles are to pick it up, because you can't see the handles when it contains one large load of laundry. If you do small loads of laundry this is a good size. However, for a large load of laundry the basket really needs to be bigger. The round shape is a little more awkward to handle/carry than a rectangular basket that would be longer but slimmer on the sides. I personally prefer a woven laundry basket to a plastic one, however for the size...
